This extensive renovation/alteration project involved interior reconfiguration and exterior modernisation of a mid-century style home. The renovation was featured in the May 2022 edition of House and Garden magazine. Not only was the home aesthetically transformed, but its functionality was also vastly improved.

We completed an extension and renovation of this six-bedroom, 450m2 family home, which included extending the kitchen and dining area by 30m2 to create a larger living space. We also added a covered outdoor pavilion area featuring huge glass louvres that can slide open in the summer to enjoy the stunning views of Coatesville or remain shut in the winter, allowing for use all year round.

A luxury master wing addition was added to this beautiful lifestyle home. The clients wanted an area that they could relax and unwind. As you walk through the glass hallway to the master retreat you feel like you are walking through nature, with exquisite gardens on either side. As you enter you’ll see a large master bedroom, a walk in robe, high raked ceilings and a large ensuite, tiled floor to ceiling with a feature stand alone bath overlooking the stunning landscape that surrounds the home, the perfect place to unwind with a glass of red wine or your favourite book. Open up the sliders in summer to create the feel of an outdoor bath. This truely is a retreat at home.

This renovation completely overhauled a family home to create more space, practicality, improved aesthetic appeal, and a more usable outdoor living area that could be used year-round. The renovation included a complex roof extension and restructure to allow for a vaulted ceiling in the kitchen and dining area, flowing out to a covered outdoor entertainment area.

We were able to give this dull home a facelift that our clients are now proud and excited to come home to. We added new double-glazed aluminium joinery throughout to keep the family warm, and did a full reclad and facelift on the roadside of the property, including vertical shiplap cladding and a feature cedar façade around the front windows to make the home stand out.

We also added a new lower-pitched pergola roof to allow more light into the rumpus and entertaining area, a new boundary fence, new wrap-around decks and balustrades, as well as a large deck extension out back and a full house repaint.
